La Colorada 2021 Gold Medal Decanter 2024

We come back to share with you another success for López Cristóbal Winery, this time,  in the Decanter Awards 2024. In its 21st year, Decanter Awards gives to our Crianza Wine López Cristóbal La Colorada 2021 a Gold Medal with the incredible score of 95 points.

Decanter awards is one of the world’s largest and most influential wine competition. Decanter World Wine Awards gathered a panel of nearly 250 leading wine experts, including 20 Master Sommeliers and 61 Masters of Wine, to blind-taste 18,143 wines from 57 countries.

The elegance of this Tempranillo has been yet awarded by the past in this competition: La Colorada 2019 also obtained a Gold Medal in Decanter Awards 2022.

A meticulous work in the vineyard to obtain the best grapes, together with modern and minimally invasive methods of elaboration, are the key of this success.

López Cristóbal La Colorada 2021 is vibrant, with a fruity expression, smooth on the palate, attractive, and fresh. Furthermore, this perfect representative of Tempranillo Wines from Ribera del Duero, offers a very good value for money.
